More than a decade since the World Health Organization declared “no health without mental health,” its message bears heeding more than ever. Many countries have suppressed certain infectious diseases and chronic physical illnesses, but these successes have not been replicated in mental diseases. Further action and innovation can overcome traditional constraints to deliver effective outcomes. This report focuses on digital mental health in Asia—how HealthTechs are tackling mental illnesses in completely different ways through novel technologies and how various markets set them up for success.
