Objective:

The 2021-2023 APEC Roadmap to Promote Mental Wellbeing in a Healthy Asia Pacific provides strategic directions for mental health activities in the APEC region for the next decade. The COVID-19 pandemic put an unprecedented spotlight on the critical need for collaborative approaches to promote access to and implementation of initiatives that promote mental well-being and offer prevention and care for mental health conditions. As the pandemic also underscored, ensuring that access to prevention, promotion and care is equitable for all populations is fundamental to promoting healthy, productive societies.

The APEC Digital Hub for Mental Health acts as the coordinating body for mental health activities in the APEC region. In this online forum, we will convene expert speakers from across the APEC region to highlight research, innovations and best practices related to promoting mental health equity, including via the use of digital technologies, across the region.
