Our panel of speakers includes:

 

  • Aj Associate Prof Angie Chew. Angie is the CEO of the Brahm Centre in Singapore. She teaches courses including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness for Enhanced Performance and gives a variety of talks on managing emotions and trauma. She was named the Singaporean of The Year 2019 by Straits Times for her work in mental health. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of mindfulness at the National University of Singapore. 

 

  • Professor Craig Hassed OAM. Craig has been working within the Faculty of Medicine at Monash University since 1989. He is coordinator of mindfulness programs across Monash and is Director of Education at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies. His teaching, research and clinical interests include mindfulness, mind-body medicine, lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine and medical ethics.

 

  • Dr Bruce Arroll. Bruce is a Professor of General Practice and Primary Health Care at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and has been a practising GP for 41 years. During that time he has published more than 300 peer-reviewed publications.  He also does special consultations using Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) and was recently awarded the ACC Supreme Award in the New Zealand 2021 Primary Healthcare Awards for his “X-factor” traits of ingenuity, humility and generosity. 

 

  • Dr Addie Wootten. Addie is the CEO of Smiling Mind and a Clinical Psychologist by background. Addie brings her extensive background in clinical psychology, research and e-health to her position of CEO of Smiling Mind.
    Addie is a well- known leader in her field, publishing widely and speaking at a range of events – from corporate settings to schools and government.
