2021 Award Winners

Every year eMHIC acknowledges one award recipient from each member country to receive a country-specific Innovation Leadership award in eMental Health. The award is given either to an organization or person/s who have made an exceptional contribution to the eMental Health domain by demonstrating noteworthy leadership to implement eMental Health solutions at scale. 

All award winners have demonstrated forward-thinking leadership in innovation and implementation. Award-worthy characteristics may include:  

  • Visionary thinking, including careful consideration for equitable outcomes. 
  • Building momentum for and a commitment to sustainable change. 
  • Personal attributes, such as integrity, focus, enthusiasm, humility and a ‘can do’ attitude

Leadership Excellence Awards 2021

eMHIC's 7th annual international awards ceremony took place online over two days in November, celebrating leadership excellence in Sweden, UK, Australia, U.S.A, New Zealand and Canada. In addition, this year two exceptional leaders were acknowledged for their lifelong contribution to eMental Health. Each received an award recognizing their incredible achievements, outstanding commitment and contribution to the field.

International Phone and Text Helplines

Victoria is CEO of Mental Health Innovations, the charity behind SHOUT, the UK’s first 24/7 crisis text service. From 2011 to 2017, she was Director of Programmes at The Royal Foundation, building a portfolio of projects including the Invictus Games, Coach Core, United for Wildlife and Heads Together.
