To recognize this important frontier, the 2025 eMHIC Global Awards is proud to introduce a new category: the AI Innovation in Digital Mental Health Award, generously sponsored by Core Solutions.
This award honors the innovators applying Artificial Intelligence to tackle the most urgent challenges in mental health care. Further, it celebrates those tethering this technology to human-centered principles that will ensure equitable access, empower communities and enhance lives.
The judging criteria are designed to reflect this:
- Use of AI to support or enhance mental health services
- Impact—how many lives the project affects or could affect
- Community value, especially to patients, caregivers, or care systems, with the use of measurement-based tools
- Novelty, addressing needs in new or more effective ways
- Ethical practice, with attention to privacy, safety, and inclusion
The award recipient will receive:
- An educational grant of $5,000 USD to support professional development or further advancement of their project
- A complimentary ticket to the 2026 eMHIC Congress, where the winner will share insights and progress with eMHIC’s global community
