On day 2 of the eMHIC Congress 2021, Alexander Dalton, Public Speaker, Mental Health Advocate and LGBTQ+ Rights Activist, from Melbourne, Australia gave a keynote speech on “Digital mental health, social media and help seeking”.

Alexander shared his story of living with mental ill health, accessing online peer support and the impact of social media on his mental health journey. He then offered his thoughts on how digital mental health can be used to support young people be happy and well.
