Students from Columbia University Join eMHIC Discussion Forums

In a landmark partnership, eMHIC welcomes students from Columbia University enrolled in ‘Psychology and the United Nations’, the most unique course in the US and the world, to participate in eMHIC’s global Discussion Forums as part of eMHIC’s free student membership initiative.

The aim of this initiative is to encourage future digital mental health leaders to participate and collaborate with their peers as well as experts and thought-leaders around the world.

Students will gain access to the full suite of eMHIC membership benefits, and use the online Discussion Forums as part of their coursework.

In this interview, Dr Judy Kuriansky, Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia Teachers’ College and United Nations NGO Representative speaks with Anil Thapliyal, Executive Director of eMHIC, about what this partnership means for students in her class, and why this is such an historic step for eMental Health and academia.

All eMHIC members can click here to join the conversations in the Discussion Forums, or if you’re a student you can click here to find our more about the free membership for students.
