Prior to MindSG, Singapore residents faced challenges navigating multiple touchpoints to find credible mental health information and services. Online self-assessment tools were also not always evidence-based, making it difficult for individuals to reliably understand their mental health needs.
Additionally, mental health needs differ across life stages, making it difficult to find contextually relevant resources.
MindSG supports Singapore’s National Mental Health and Well-being Strategy as a self-help resource primarily for healthy individuals seeking to maintain and promote their mental well-being. MindSG is regularly monitored with reporting to its whole-of-government workgroup for accountability and planning, ensuring the portal remains credible, relevant and responsive to the evolving mental health needs of Singapore residents.
MindSG addresses these gaps by providing a single, trusted portal with expert-curated content tailored to different age groups, validated self-assessment tools, and a wayfinding tool to help users identify the mental health services and support most relevant to their needs. Developed by Singapore’s Health Promotion Board in collaboration with 9 other government agencies, the portal serves residents seeking self-help resources as well as those supporting people they care for.
As at 31 December 2025, MindSG has reached more than 19 million page views over 4 years and continues to scale with progressively enhanced content and resources.
