Initiative Overview

The Current Gap

Mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, burnout, poor focus, and emotional dysregulation are increasing globally, particularly among students and working professionals. Most digital mental health solutions rely on self-reported questionnaires, which can be subjective and fail to provide real-time insights. Access to affordable, personalized, and preventive mental wellness support remains limited, especially in emerging markets. There is a significant need for scalable solutions that combine objective measurements, early detection, and personalized interventions to improve mental wellbeing before conditions become severe.

NeurOm is part of a broader mission to make advanced neurotechnology accessible and affordable globally. The initiative has received support through government innovation programs, academic collaborations, and leading startup ecosystems including IIT Bombay Eureka and Google for Startups AI Academy India. Our long-term vision is to create a globally scalable digital mental health ecosystem that combines AI, neuroscience, and wearable technology to empower individuals with proactive tools for cognitive health, emotional wellbeing, and lifelong mental resilience.

Our Solution

NeurOm is an AI-powered digital mental wellness platform that integrates neuroscience, brain-computer interface technology, cognitive assessments, and personalized wellbeing interventions. Available through mobile applications and future wearable integration, NeurOm enables accessible, preventive, and data-driven mental wellness support for students, professionals, educational institutions, and organizations.

Key Learnings

Developing objective mental health measurement tools that are both scientifically validated and user-friendly remains challenging.

Additional barriers include access to large-scale clinical and pilot validation, regulatory pathways for emerging neurotechnology, funding for deep-tech product development, and creating affordable solutions that can scale across diverse populations and geographies.
Successful digital mental health innovation requires close collaboration between technology developers, researchers, clinicians, educators, and end users.

Early validation, continuous user feedback, ethical AI practices, data privacy, and accessibility should be integrated from the beginning.

Building trust and demonstrating measurable outcomes are critical for long-term adoption.
Collaboration enables access to diverse expertise, research methodologies, validation environments, and implementation models.

Partnerships with academic institutions, innovation ecosystems, healthcare professionals, and global mental health communities help accelerate learning, improve solution quality, and ensure that innovations remain relevant across different populations and cultural contexts.

Looking Ahead

NeurOm plans to expand pilot deployments across educational institutions, workplaces, and wellness programs while advancing its Brain-Computer Interface wearable technology.

Future activities include large-scale validation studies, international partnerships, AI enhancement, multilingual accessibility, regulatory readiness, and expansion into global mental health and cognitive wellbeing markets.
We welcome collaborations with universities, healthcare organizations, mental health professionals, researchers, employers, NGOs, and technology partners interested in digital mental health, cognitive wellbeing, AI, and neurotechnology.

Collaboration opportunities include pilot studies, validation projects, research partnerships, implementation programs, and international knowledge exchange.
Our vision is to create a globally accessible mental wellness ecosystem powered by neuroscience, AI, and neurotechnology. We aim to provide millions of individuals with objective, personalized, and preventive mental health support while advancing evidence-based digital mental health solutions that improve cognitive wellbeing, resilience, and quality of life worldwide.
