Cecilia has worked tirelessly to develop the Swedish National Quality Registr for internet-delivered psychological treatment, known as SibeR,  in order to provide a basis for systematic evaluation, development of and research into internet-delivered healthcare treatments.  Knowing that these digitally-enabled treatments bridge a shortage of and unequal access to mental health services, she recognised the criticality of assuring their quality. The SibeR quality measures include diagnostic assessment, availability, adherence and treatment effects. SibeR also provides feedback via online real time statistics and supports implementation and informatics for digital care. 

Cecilia has demonstrated absolute tenacity, skilled engagement and active leadership working across Sweden’s regional health systems. Her aim: to encourage increased connection with and use of SibeR and greater inter-regional collaboration to support continuous improvement, greater efficacy and further uptake of digital mental health solutions.  

One of her referees expressed that SibeR acts as a spine or an anchor to develop and conduct evidence-based treatment across Sweden.  The referee credits today’s award recipient for  enabling sustainable implementation of high-quality digital mental health solutions throughout Sweden. ​
